The ingredients for my mead are 1 gallon of filtered water, 2lbs of clover honey, K1-V1116 yeast, 1/2 squeezed lemon, and 2 cup of a strong tea I brewed of dried rosemary and lavender flowers. The primary fermentation began on 09/08/2008 and the secondary fermentation began on 09/30/2008. The mead was bottled on 10/10/2008.

One of my favourite beers is Pils Urquell. I am not able to do lagers easily in my home currently. Used a Pils Urguell clone recipe, substituted Spalt whole hops for Saaz (not available) and brewed the whole thing as an ale. It is missing the corn-like flavor of a Pils Urquell lager, but it is quite similar to the flavor.
